Kiara

Kiara is a current high school senior at Dominican Academy. She is a 2019 SSRP participant who studied the genetic expression in songbirds in the Jarvis Laboratory of Neurogenetics of Language. Nothing excited her more than doing research in a lab and studying questions that would incrementally bring us closer to uncovering the secrets of the greatest puzzle—the brain.
