Aditi

Aditi is a current high school senior at Livingston High School in New Jersey. She is a 2019 SSRP participant and worked under Dr. Caryn Hale, PhD in the Darnell Laboratory of Molecular Neuro-Oncology, studying the localization of neuronal mRNA in the hippocampal region. Aditi sincerely enjoys conducting biomedical research specifically in the neuroscience realm. After SSRP, she was able to learn about all of the knowns — and uncertainties! — present in the fields of cognitive and behavioral neuroscience. For her, science offers much more than validating the known; it is an opportunity to scrutinize the unknown and investigate the underlying questions. In school, she enjoys science and english classes, and writing for literary magazines! She can be found running, reading, writing, and trying new foods in NYC!
