Nicole Woitowich

Nicole (Niki) Woitowich, PhD, is the Associate Director of the Center for Reproductive Science at Northwestern University. She is actively transforming the landscape of women’s health through her research, advocacy, and outreach activities. While formally-trained as a biochemist, her current research focuses on the evaluation of the biomedical research enterprise through the lense of sex- and gender-inclusion. She has significant expertise in science policy and public engagement with science, and as such, was named a Presidential Management Fellow in 2016 and currently serves as chair for the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology – Science Outreach and Communication Committee.
